Does your child want to earn extra money as an assistant referee? LFSA/60 United is hosting a Referee clinic on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Lake Forest Country Day School in Lake Forest. Assistant referees need to be 12 years old as of March 31, 2019. We are offering an entry level only clinic and a recertification clinic on March 9. The clinics will run from 8:30-5:00, however it’s typically over by 4:00.
Please click here to sign up or online at www.illinoissoccerrefereecommittee.org. You do not need to be an LFSA/60 United player to become an assistant referee. Older siblings/friends are welcome. Fee is $75 (see below for reimbursement *) . Deadline to sign up online is March 5. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability and charged an additional $10.

Pay scale: Ranges $30-$35 per game.
Please note: Some online tasks must be completed before the classroom session and brought to the class on March 9.
*Assistant Referees (ARs) must successfully complete the Illinois Youth Soccer Association Assistant Referee Clinic. Yearly re-certification is required.
There is a $75 certification fee payable upon successful completion of the AR class.
Certification Fee Reimbursement: If an AR successfully referees 8 games in one year (4 in each season Fall/Spring) LFSA/60 United will refund the $75 certification fee. In order to receive the refund, ARs must submit a request for reimbursement to Coach Can with the dates of the games worked, and request a reimbursement. Allow 2-4 weeks for processing.
